No. 1 with Ceramics for Flowers and Plants
Continuous growing marks the success story of Scheurich: Founded in 1928 by Alois Scheurich as a wholesale business for glass, china and ceramics, the signal for producing ceramics was given in the fifties. Thanks to a multitude of innovations the family business developed and became the market leader for indoor-pots and accessories for flowers and plants in Europe.

Quick Adaptation to Trends and Target groups 
In the meantime Scheurich became first and foremost a trend manufacturer. Each year two main and seasonal collections are presented that match with the actual international trends. Besides the company focuses the market continuously and cooperates with domestic and external trend agencies. The aim is to launch top-selling products that on particularly developed product carriers and emotionally created communication media lead to additional impulses of buying.  

„Made in Germany“ backs up Mushroom Growth
90 per cent of the extensive product range with 1000 stock types are manufactured in Germany. “Made in Germany“ is not only a quality feature, it is also the guarantee for success. Although the ceramic market is affected by an over-capacity in Europe and Asian cheap imports, Scheurich could continuously gain market shares. Currently the export share has come up to nearly 50%, the branded products are sold world-wide.

Ceramic production on a Most Modern Level
Scheurich manufactures daily up to 100,000 articles at the Kleinheubach/Main site with 350 employees – on highly automated production lines with robots as well as most modern stove aggregates and coating units. Beyond that, a logistic with fully integrated SAP-system allows to supply customers “Just-in-time“, which guarantees high flexibility and short supply distances which simultaneously is friendly to the environment. The company sets high value on this: Scheurich is ISO 14001-qualified as only ceramic manufacturer globally, and thus in its market segment also the No. 1 with view to the protection of the environment.
